SUMMARY:2022 KSEA Undergraduate and Graduate Scholarship Program Announcement
DESCRIPTION:Dear KSEA members\, \nThe Korean-American Scientists and Engineers Association (KSEA) is pleased to announce the 35th annual US-Korea Conference held on August 17-20\, 2022. This event is jointly organized by the Korean-American Scientists and Engineers Association (KSEA)\, the Korean Federation of Science and Technology Societies (KOFST)\, and Korea-U.S. Science Cooperation Center (KUSCO). \nThis year\, the theme of UKC 2022 is “Science and Technology in the Wake of the Pandemic.” We review what scientists and engineers have done to overcome challenges during this pandemic and address the roles of STEM for society in the post-pandemic era. We hope that scientists and engineers\, by their different actions during this pandemic\, can transform the different challenges we have faced into opportunities. Equipping youth with STEM skills will help to support recovery efforts and prepare them to mitigate future crises better. \nPlease visit our UKC 2022 website for our plenary speakers\, important dates\, an overall program\, and additional information. We will notify the call for papers and registration soon in April. We hope to see you in person at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City\, Arlington\, VA. \nThank you. \nSincerely\, \nYoung-Kee Kim\, UKC Chair\, KSEA President Elect
